מהו אבחון פסיכודידקטי?

אבחון פסיכודידקטי הינו אבחון מקיף שנועד לאבחן את מצבו של הנבדק ולאתר את מקור הקשיים שלו בתחומים החברתיים והלימודיים בעיקר.

האבחון הפסיכודידקטי לא מאבחן רק יכולות קוגנטיביות  (בשונה מאבחון דידקטי הבודק יכולת קוגנטיבית בלבד ביחס לאינטילגנציה) אלא מרחיב ובודק גם היבטים רגשיים בכדי לקבל תמונת מצב הוליסטית ומלאה בכדי להבין את מקור הבעיות והקשיים.

לרוב, היבטים רגשיים בחייו של ילד או מבוגר הינם בעלי השפעה משמעותית על יכולותיו ואופן ההתמודדות שלו עם מטלות פשוטות ומורכבות.
